Franklin Woman Injured in Sandycreek Township Collision

ambulanceSANDYCREEK, Pa. (EYT) – Franklin-based State Police responded to a two-vehicle accident on Route 8 in Sandycreek Township, Venango County.

Police say 24-year-old Kimberly Lovelace, of Oil City, was driving south in a 2002 Jeep Liberty around 1:35 p.m. on February 14.

According to police, Lovelace lost control of her vehicle on the snow-covered roadway and entered the northbound lane, impacting a 2004 Dodge Intrepid driven by 20-year-old Creena M. Baker, of Franklin.

Lovelace was not injured in the crash.

Baker sustained minor injuries and was transported to UPMC Northwest by Community Ambulance.

Both drivers were wearing seat-belts.

Police were assisted on scene by Community Ambulance, Franklin Fire Department, and Lowrey’s Towing.
