Franklin Woman Injured in Two-Vehicle Crash in Sandycreek Township

SANDYCREEK TWP., Pa. (EYT) — Franklin-based State Police say a two-vehicle accident occurred Thursday afternoon on Pone Lane, in Sandycreek Township, Venango County.

According to police, 45-year-old Autumn N. Zook and Karen D. Wood, both of Franklin, were involved in the collision.

Police say around 3:30 p.m. on April 27, Zook was traveling west on Congress Hill Road, and she proceeded without clearance from the stop sign at the intersection with Pone Lane. As her 2012 Toyota RAV 4 traveled across Pone Lane, it was struck by Wood’s 2016 Ford F-250 that was traveling north on Pone Lane.

Zook was not injured.

Community Ambulance Service transported Wood to UPMC Northwest for evaluation. Her injuries are unknown.

Both drivers were using seat belts.

Zook was charged with a traffic violation.

Lowrey’s Towing removed the Toyota from the scene.

Sandycreek Volunteer Fire Department assisted at the scene.
