Activities for Thursday, June 28, include an Open Mic Night for Kids at Franklin Library from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.

At 6:00 p.m. the Bicycle Rodeo begins at the Christian Missionary Alliance Church, 1200 Otter Street. The rodeo offers an opportunity for children ages 5-12 to test their bike riding skills and learn about bike safety.

The event includes a bike and helmet inspection station and is free. The Church will serve a free hot dog dinner. Scouts should bring their own bikes and helmets. A limited number of free helmets will be available for riders in need and all attendees will receive a goodie bag.

Thursday is Buddy Night at the Rocky Grove Firemen’s Fair, where two can ride for $15.00. Another attraction at the Fair on Thursday is the Race Car Night Show.

There will be live music by the Franklin Silver Cornet Band at Bandstand Park beginning at 7:30 p.m.
