FRANKLIN, Pa. (EYT) — A new religious group is inviting local residents to two upcoming exploratory meetings.

Do you value simplicity, peace integrity, community, and equality, and would like them to be more a part of your life?

These are just some of the testimonies, or values, of “Friends,” also known as Quakers.

Some area residents are exploring the possibility of starting a new “Friends” meeting in the Oil City/Franklin area.

Interested individuals are asked to consider attending one of two exploratory meetings, on Wednesday, September 25, from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. and Saturday, September 28, from 3:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. in the downstairs meeting room at the Oil City Library.

For more information please call or text Greg at 814-374-2880.

Come as you are.
