| January 18, 2017

Friends of the Flag photo Friends of the Flag will hold its 20th Annual Flag Ride later this year, and this year they are using community participation for selecting the honorary veteran(s) to be recognized.

To nominate a veteran, here are the rules:

1. Write a two or three paragraph letter about why this person should be selected.
2. Include nominee’s name, Branch of service, years of service (19xx-19xx), and any notable attributes.
