Fugitive From Justice Arrested in Oil City

OIL CITY, Pa. (EYT) — Oil City Police say around 4:13 p.m. on May 28, a fugitive from justice was arrested after he was apprehended by police, in Oil City, Venango County.

Police report that they received a request to locate and arrest Irven Bowles. Police say Bowles was wanted in Brevard County, FL for probation violations.

Police arrived at his location and arrested him on May 28.

Bowles was arraigned before Judge Patrick Lowrey on Fugitive from Justice charges.

Bowles is lodged in the Venango County Jail awaiting extradition proceedings.

No other information was provided.
