Geer knocked off Wisconsin’s Hunter Ritter, 3-0 to start out Friday. That win avenged a loss by fall in the Southern Scuffle for the Fighting Scots rookie.

But his tournament and season came to a close later in the day with a 12-3 loss to Myles Martin of Ohio State, who was the sixth seed.

Geer finishes his rookie year with a 32-10 record.
