Gerda CroweGerda Crowe, 81, of Orlando, Florida, passed away at 9:05 a.m. on Sunday, March 5th at Sugarcreek Station in Franklin, PA.

Born March 28, 1935 in Butler, Gerda was the daughter of the late George C.and Elsie Fay Saylor Billman. She was married to Dewey Crowe who preceded her in death.

Gerda was a graduate of Butler High School, where she was very active in the Marching Band. She was a homemaker who cherished the time she spent with her family. She also enjoyed traveling, being outdoors- especially in her garden and with her flowers.

Gerda is survived by her six sons, David Crowe and his wife, Kim of Franklin, Robert Crowe and his wife, Renay, of Longwood, FL, Kenneth Crowe of Gainesville, FL, and Kevin Crowe, Keith Crowe, and Edward Crowe, all of Orlando, FL; and her 2 daughters:, Kathy Norwood of Bradenton, FL; and Linda Crowe of Orlando, FL.

Gerda is also survived by 15 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; her identical twin sister, Greta Monnie, of Butler; her brother-in-law, Larry Dabill, of Memphis, TN; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her son, Terry Crowe; her 2 sisters, Sara Amerson and Wanda Dabill; and her 2 brothers-in-law.

A memorial service for Gerda will be private and held at the convenience of her family. The Gardinier Funeral Home, Inc., 1315 Chestnut Street, Franklin has been trusted with arrangements.
