Oil City, Pa. – Seats are still available for the “Get Down To Business” Workshop scheduled for 6 – 8 pm on Tuesday, October 21 at the Oil City Library.

The event, sponsored by the Oil City Main Street Program, is the first in what is planned to be a series of quarterly workshops geared for small businesses.

Tuesday’s program will focus on target three important factors that affect every business: how to increase traffic to your business, how to convert that traffic into sales, and how to price your product to make profit. Guest speakers include Emily Fetcko of Moxie Media, Frank Gill of Gill Consulting, and Dick O’Polka of O’Polka & Company, a division of McGill, Power, Bell & Associates.

“Earlier this year, we surveyed our business owners, and some of the feedback indicated that people are interested in workshops aimed at different business topics,” stated Bailey.

“This workshop will be our first, and we hope to hold more in the future. It’s a good way of gaining knowledge, and networking with your fellow business owners as well.”

The October 21st workshop is open to all business owners & managers, or anyone thinking of starting a business. Cost is $15 per person or $25 per couple, and refreshments are included.

Interested parties are asked to RSVP to the Oil City Main Street Office at 677-3152 ext. 101 or kbailey@oilregion.org today.
