Public Relations and Public Media Director for Goodwill Industries of North Central Pennsylvania, Jessica Illuzzi, says that this donation center is unique from other donation sites across North Central Pennsylvania.

Illuzzi told exploreVenango.com, “Most of our donation sites are sheds. This will be our fourth brick and mortar donation center for Goodwill North Central which covers thirteen counties.”

Illuzzi explained that the Seneca location will be strictly a donation site, not a retail location. However, what makes this donation site unique is that it will employ individuals from the area.

“Most of our donation sites are sheds, and we can’t employ as many people and do not have a lot of room. With this new donation site in Seneca, we will be employing multiple individuals who will help donors with their donations.”

All donations to the Seneca location will be sent to Goodwill’s processing center in Falls Creek before being dispersed among the twenty-four Goodwill retail stores across the thirteen counties of Goodwill Industries of North Central Pennsylvania.

The new location in Seneca will hold an open house on June 28 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

Visitors will be able to tour the new site, and there will be an official ribbon-cutting ceremony at noon.
