Grace OrlandoGrace V. Orlando, 92, a lifelong Franklin resident, died peacefully at 1:15 PM Friday, April 7, 2017 in The Caring Place of Franklin; following a gradual decline in health.

Born January 27, 1925 in Franklin, she was the daughter of Anthony and Mary Caruso Orlando.

She was a graduate of Sacred Heart Academy and Franklin High School.

She was first employed at The National Market and then at General Manifold Printing Company.

Later she was employed at Bittenbender Car Dealership and Chicago Pneumatic Tool Company.

Her final employment was with the Venango County Area Agency on Aging.

Miss Orlando was a lifetime member of St. Patrick Church.

She enjoyed puzzles, music, stamp collecting, reading, and scrap-booking. While her health permitted, she traveled widely.

She is survived by a step-sister, Lois Minnigh; by a nephew, Michael Orlando of Salisbury, NC; two nieces: Michelle Fox of Harrisburg and Melisse Joppy of Cleona, PA. She is also survived by many cousins and great nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Joseph Orlando and his wife, Ethel; her step-father, William Spackman; four step-sisters: Inez Angus, Jane McBride, Joan Hahn and Sally Ricalton and by her nephew, Mark Orlando.

Friends may call Monday 4-7 PM in the Timothy E. Hartle Funeral Home, 1328 Elk Street, Franklin.

Family and friends are invited to attend her Mass of Christian Burial Tuesday at 11 AM in St. Patrick Church, 949 Liberty Street, with Monsignor John J. Herbein, pastor officiating.

Interment will follow in St. Patrick Cemetery.
