Grayce Y. Harvey, 94, of Franklin, passed away at 2:00 a.m. on Wednesday, April 12th at The Caring Place in Franklin.

Born on October 26th, 1922 in Franklin, Grayce was the daughter of Harry F. and Minnie G. Dodd McGinnis.

She was married to Leroy George Harvey who preceded her in death.

Grayce was a 1941 graduate of Rocky Grove High School.

She worked for the County of Venango as a clerk in the Office of the Register of Deeds and Wills.

She was a member of the Grace United Methodist Church. She enjoyed gardening and had a passion for painting, reading, and music as well.

She loved helping charities, especially ones for children.

She also enjoyed cooking as well as crocheting and knitting.

She was involved with The Rocky Grove Volunteer Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary.

Grayce is survived by her daughter, Pamela McMurdy of Oil City; and her grandchildren, Cynthia Heller and her husband, Tim, of Franklin; Kimberly S. Myers and her special friend, Brian Martin, of Franklin; Crystal N. Hadden and her husband, Cory, of Franklin; Christy M. Lewis, of Ohio; Walter H. Shields, Jr. of Oil City; and David E. Shields of Titusville. She is additionally survived by her seventeen grandchildren.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Margaret L. Huffman.

Family and friends will be received at Gardinier Funeral Home, Inc., 1315 Chestnut Street, Franklin, Pa. on Friday, April 14th from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.

Funeral services will be held at Grace United Methodist Church of Rocky Grove on Saturday, April 15th, at 12:00 p.m. with Rev. Gary Atkinson, pastor of the Church, officiating.

Interment will be in Franklin Cemetery.
