Gregory Allen Town

TownGregory Allen Town, age 43, of Fermantown Road, Brockway, Pa, died on Thursday, June 23, 2016, at the Warren General Hospital.

Born in DuBois, Pa. on July 9, 1972, he is the son of Dennis Town of Brockway and Diana Puhala Kost of Sykesville.

On December 2, 2006, he was married to Tabitha Thompson, and she survives.

Greg was a self-employed logger.

He attended the Methodist Church.

Greg loved his horses and harness racing, and was a certified horse trainer. He also was a member of the U.S. Trotting Association. Along with his two horses, he also loved his two St. Bernards, Talon and Remi.

He is also survived by a sister Traci (Mike) McGillicuddy, of Annandale, Va.; a brother David (Krystina) Town, of Cranberry Township., Pa.; his mother-in-law Polly Thompson, of Clarion, his father-in-law Tommy Thompson, of Knox, Pa.; and two brother-in-laws, Todd Thompson, of Knox and Tim (Elaine) Thompson, of Cranberry, Pa. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Calling hours will be on Sunday, June 26 from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. at the Carlson-Shugarts Funeral Home Inc. 1033 4th Avenue Brockway, Pa. 15824.

A funeral service will be held on Monday, June 27 at 11:00 a.m. also at the funeral home with Rev. Terry Felt officiating.

Committal Prayers will follow at the Beechtree Cemetery.

Memorial donations may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.
