IRWIN TOWNSHIP, Pa. (EYT) –A Harrisville man is facing charges after he allegedly punched and kicked a woman multiple times.

According to a criminal complaint, Franklin-based State Police received a call around 1:27 p.m. on August 16 for a reported domestic incident along Byers Road in Irwin Township.

The caller reported that two people “were at it again,” the complaint states.

The victim met police about one half mile from the residence and “was screaming ‘I cannot deal with this anymore,'” and was bleeding from the left side of her head above her ear. The victim said “he just kept hitting me in my head. I told him all I wanted was my phone, and I would be out of there,” the complaint continues.

Police identified the allegedly attacker as Thomas Boyer II, 42, of Harrisville.

Police interviewed a witness who allegedly said police had already dealt with the victim and Boyer earlier “and it has not stopped,” the complaint states.

The witness said she received a text from Boyer asking her and the victim to leave or he would and the witness said “we wanted to be gone when he showed up. Before you know it, he showed up,” the complaint continues.

According to the complaint, the witness said the victim and Boyer began to argue over a cell phone, and Boyer allegedly kicked the victim in the ribs, then “started punching her in the head. I do not know how many times he hit her in the side of the head. When he was done hitting her in the head, he kicked her in the groin. When he was done he told her ‘you have not seen anything yet wait until next time,'” the complaint states.

Based on the investigation, Trooper Lindenberg, of PSP Franklin, requested a warrant of arrest to be issued for Boyer, the complaint indicates.

According to online court documents, Boyer was arraigned at 4:59 p.m. on August 16 before District Judge Andrew Fish.

He faces charges of second-degree misdemeanor simple assault and summary harassment by subjecting another to physical contact.

Unable to post $85,000.00 cash bail, he was placed in the Venango County Jail.

A preliminary hearing has been set for 8:30 a.m. on September 2 in Venango County Central Court.
