CRANBERRY TWP., Pa. (EYT) — A Franklin woman is facing a hearing today on felony drug charges after being found in possession of 95 grams of suspected methamphetamine.

Court documents indicate 23-year-old Brandy Lee Blake, of Franklin, is scheduled to stand for a hearing in front of Magisterial District Judge Matthew T. Kirtland on Wednesday, October 9, at 1:30 p.m.

She faces the following charges:

– Manufacture, Delivery, or Possession With Intent to Manufacture or Deliver, Felony
– Deliver/Intent To Deliver Drug Paraphernalia, Misdemeanor
– Possession of Controlled Substance, Misdemeanor
– Use/Possession Of Drug Paraphernalia, Misdemeanor

The charges stem from an incident reported on Monday, September 23.

According to a criminal complaint, on September 23, Trooper Grzasko, of the Franklin-based State Police, was dispatched to a location on Maple Grove Circle in Sandycreek Township, Venango County, for a report of a domestic incident.

Trooper Grzasko attended the scene and spoke to all of the individuals involved before they were transported to UPMC Northwest. Trooper Grzasko then spoke to a neighbor at the scene.

According to the complaint, the neighbor stated that Brandy Blake came to her residence and asked her for a garbage bag. She reported Blake then placed a small cosmetic bag inside the garbage bag, then removed a ziplock baggie containing a white powder substance and placed it in her bra. The neighbor noted that Blake stated she “didn’t want them taking a felony for her.” The neighbor also said she observed paraphernalia items inside the bag.

Trooper Grzasko took the cosmetic bag. It contained two metal smoking pipes, a burnt light bulb with suspected residue, burnt aluminum foil with residue, six white round pills, and several lighters, according to the complaint.

Trooper Grzasko proceeded to UPMC Northwest to interview Blake. He advised her that it was brought to his attention that she was in possession of a ziplock baggie containing a white powdered substance.

According to the complaint, Blake stated she had left the baggie at the residence prior to getting into the ambulance. However, upon further questioning, Blake admitted she had it on her person and pulled it out of her bra. When asked, Blake stated the baggie contained meth.

The items were transported to the Franklin-based State Police barracks, and the ziplock baggie was weighed and found to contain 95 grams of suspected methamphetamine, the complaint indicates.

The charges were filed against Blake on Tuesday, September 24, through Magisterial District Judge Patrick E. Lowrey’s office.
