Helen CannonHelen M. Cannon, 92, of Sugarcreek Station, Franklin went to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday, April 20th.

Born October 13, 1924 in Oil City, Helen was the daughter of Robert and Florence Stoudt.

She was a graduate of Oil City High School.

She loved playing her piano and devoted a lot of her time helping at her church. Mrs. Cannon also volunteered for many years for the Easter Seals.

Helen lived much of her life in western states including Idaho, Washington, and Colorado.

She enjoyed the rustic beauty of the West and saw much of it. Music was a large part of her life and she was an accomplished pianist.

She accompanied many church and school groups on the piano. She passed on her love of music to her children and grandchildren.

Her church and family were at the center of her life and she gave time and love to both.

She was also active in the Republican party and loved her country with passion.

Surviving are two sons, Larry Say and his wife, Pam, of Johnstown, Colorado; Randy Say and his wife, Linda, of Arvada, Colorado; and a daughter, Veronica Say of Laconia N.H. She is also survived by her two grandsons, Nathan Say and Kyle Say, both of Loveland Colorado; her two grandaughters, Amy Crane of Tiltin, N.H. and Becky Gorell of Wheatridge, Colorado; and her four great-grandaughters and one great-grandson.

Funeral arrangements for Mrs. Cannon have been entrusted to the care of Gardinier Funeral Home, Inc., 1315 Chestnut Street, Franklin PA.

A Memorial Service will be held at a later date at the convenience of her family.

The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to the Christ Lutheran Church, 1029 Grandview Road, Oil City PA 16301.
