VOLLEYBALL

KEYSTONE 3, VENANGO CATHOLIC 0

KNOX, Pa. — Alyssa Beichner recorded 13 aces to lead Keystone to a 3-0 (25-6, 25-8, 25-12) win over visiting Venango Catholic.

Kaci Weaver added five kills, Danica Hurrelbrink 11 set assists and Sydney Easton two aces for the Lady Panthers.

SLIPPERY ROCK 3, FRANKLIN 1

FRANKLIN, Pa. — Despite 12 kills from Quinn Adams, Franklin remained winless falling to visiting Slippery Rock, 3-1 (25-22, 15-25, 25-15, 25-20).

Marley Van Tassell added six kills and three blocks for the Lady Knights, who also got four kills, two aces and six blocks from Alex Emrick. Meghan Haynes (nine set assists) and Shaela Whiting (five set assists) ran the offense.

GREENVILLE 3, ROCKY GROVE 0

GREENVILLE, Pa. — Brooke Rocco and Corring Toscano each had two kills, but visiting Rocky Grove fell, 3-0 (25-10, 25-7, 25-15) at Greenville.

MEADVILLE 13, OIL CITY 0

MEADVILLE, Pa. — Thanks to four Elizabeth Adams goals, Meadville made quick work of visiting Oil City, 13-0.

The Lady Bulldogs peppered the Oilers net with 34 shots and the score could have been much worse if not for 13 Winter Magrino saves and eight stops by Desiree Rhoades.
