Hit and Run Reported in Emlenton

EMLENTON BOROUGH, Pa. (EYT) — Franklin-based State Police say a hit and run accident occurred on State Route 208, Main Street, in Emlenton Borough, Venango County.

According to police, 52-year-old Brian W. Ochs, of New Bethlehem, was traveling east on Main Street in Emlenton, and his 1999 Ford Ranger struck a parked vehicle (a 2001 Chrysler PT Cruiser) causing disabling damage to the front right wheel of the Ford Ranger.

Police say Ochs then got out of his vehicle and was approached by a witness.

According to police, Ochs ran away from the scene and was followed by the witness for a few blocks until the witness lost sight of him.

The vehicle was removed from the scene by Hovis Towing.

Emlenton Fire Department also responded to the scene.

No other information was provided.
