Hit-and-Run Reported in Oakland Township

OAKLAND TWP., Pa. (EYT) — Franklin-based State Police say a hit-and-run crash occurred on Wednesday along Davis Road, in Oakland Township, Venango County.

According to police, around 7:10 p.m. on October 19, a 2002 GMC Envoy was parked off the east side of the roadway of Davis Road.

Police say an unknown vehicle appeared to have been traveling south on Davis Road when it left the roadway and struck the GMC in the rear. The unknown vehicle then fled the scene in an unknown direction.

The GMC was unoccupied at the time of the crash.

It had damage to its 6 o’clock position and was able to be driven from the scene.
