FRANKLIN, Pa. (EYT) — According to Sugarcreek Police, a burglary occurred on Thursday afternoon at a residence on McCalmont Street, in Franklin, Venango County.

According to police, around 4:30 p.m. on Thursday, November 30, a homeowner returned to the residence on the 500 Block of McCalmont and discovered the front door was partially open.

At this time, an unidentified perpetrator was inside the residence to the rear and fled through the kitchen area, outside the rear door, and into the backyard.

Although Franklin and Sugarcreek Police Departments searched the area, no one was located.
