Hugh Runner JrHugh G. Runner, Jr., 80, a resident of Oakwood Heights died at 5:05 P.M. Monday at the nursing home.

Born Oct. 21, 1936 in Morgantown, WV., he was the son of the late Hugh G. Runner & Gladys Gump Runner

Hugh was employed as a truck driver for many years for Hodges and Allied and for Horning Wright in Akron, OH.

He was previously married to Donna Runner and she survives.

Hugh was a member of the Oil City VFW, enjoyed hunting, cooking, visiting with his family, playing the lottery and watching westerns and war movies on tv.

He is survived by the following children, Mickey Runner of Florida, Christine Runner of Myersdale, PA., Jeri Lynn Patton of Myersdale, PA., Hugh Runner III (J.J.) of Oil City; and helped raise Ricky and Steven James, both of Oil City.

He is also survived by 21 Grandchildren and 13 Great Grandchildren.

Several nieces and nephews also survive.

He was preceded in death by a brother George Howard Runner.

two daughters Kathy Runner and Tracy Husk and a son he helped raise Ricky Allen Pyles.

There will be no viewing or visitation.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday at 12 Noon at Morrison Park in Seneca.
