Ice Falls from I-80 Overpass, Damages Vehicle on Route 38

Police LightsSCRUBGRASS TOWNSHIP, Pa. (EYT) – Franklin-based State Police responded to an incident on Route 38 in Scrubgrass Township, Venango County.

Police say around 3:15 p.m. on February 17, Tammy J Elder was traveling south on Route 38 when a piece of ice fell from a vehicle on the Interstate 80 overpass and hit Elder’s windshield.

The vehicle causing the incident was not identified.

No additional information was provided by police.
