HOWE TWP., Pa. (EYT) — A man escaped injury after his vehicle overturned on State Route 66 in Howe Township late Tuesday night.

According to Marienville-based State Police, around 10:53 p.m. on Tuesday, December 11, 52-year-old Nikola Lukac, of Kitchener, Ontario, was driving south on State Route 66 just east of Pipeline Road in Howe Township, Forest County.

Police say Lukac lost control when his vehicle came in contact with ice and exited the west side of the road. The vehicle’s trailer then spun counterclockwise, causing the vehicle to overturn.

The vehicle came to a final rest on its driver’s side door, off the roadway facing northwest.

Lukac was wearing a seatbelt and was not injured.

The vehicle was disabled at the scene.

Marienville Volunteer Fire Company and Clarion Hospital Ambulance assisted at the scene.
