Ila Louise HovisIla Louise Hovis, 86, of Bullion passed away January 28, 2017 at Grove City Medical Center.

Louise was born March 17, 1930 in Rimersburg, she was the daughter of DeWalt and Ila Blanch Rush Myers.

Louise attended grade school in Baker and graduated from Union High School in Rimersburg. After graduation Louise married Richard Hovis on July 1, 1950 and together they celebrated 66 years of marriage, Dick survives.

Louise was a homemaker and enjoyed painting the spring flowers. She loved to do crafts especially quilting. Louise was a member of Hickory Grove Church of God of Pearl.

Louise is survived her husband Dick, two half brothers Mearl Myers and his wife Debbie of Rimersburg , Frank Myers and his wife Kathy of Butler, two half sisters Mary Barger and Rachel Piper of Rimersburg and numerous nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by two brothers William and Albert Myers, 6 sisters Zelma Sedok, Idella King, Leota Hopkins, Eunice Best, Dolores Hunsberger and infant sister Kay Marie Myers.

The family will receive friends and family at the Larry E. McKinley Funeral Home, 109 Emlenton Street, Clintonville PA on Tuesday, January 31, 2017 from 2-4 and 6-8. Funeral service will take place at the funeral home on Wednesday, February 1, 2017 at 1:00 pm with Pastor Brad Riddle officiating from Atlantic Avenue United Brethren Church, Franklin PA.

Internment will take place at Hickory Grove Cemetery, Venango County.

The family suggest in lieu of flowers donations be made to Hickory Grove Church of God, in care of Joe McConnell, 2194 Millbrook Road, Kennerdell PA 16374.
