Improvement Work Scheduled on Three Routes in Venango County

VENANGO CO., Pa – A $1.1 million improvement project that will give motorists a smoother ride on three Venango County routes is scheduled to begin next week.

The project will improve the following roadways:

– Route 157 from the Cranberry-Pinegrove Township border to Coal Hill Road in Pinegrove Township (0.90 miles)

– Route 1001 (Center Street/Plummer Street/Grandview Road) in the City of Oil City and Cornplanter Township from the intersection with Elm Street in Oil City to the intersection with Hillcrest Avenue in Cornplanter Township (1.66 miles)

– Route 1003 (Spring Street/Graff Street/Stout Street/Harriot Avenue/East Bissell Avenue) in the City of Oil City from the intersection with Center Street to the intersection with Carroll Avenue (0.90 miles)
