Franklin Public Library to Host Teen Creative Writing Workshop on April 18

FRANKLIN, Pa. (EYT) – The Franklin Public Library will host “Inklings,” a teen creative writing workshop, on Saturday, April 18.

The workshop will be held from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m.

Teens will have the opportunity to work on the story writing process while building connections with fellow peer writers.

The workshop will cover character development, creating a realist plot, and editing.

Participants are encouraged to being their stories to share.

Teen Library Miss Kathy Shay, who self-published her first novel in 2014, will run the program.

Those interested in participating must pre-register for the workshop. Space is limited to the first 20 teens who register.
