MERCER COUNTY, Pa. (EYT) — According to Pennsylvania State Police, an inmate at the Sharon Community Corrections Center has escaped.

Police say Jaron D. West fled from the facility on Tuesday around 11:00 p.m.

According to authorities, West has family ties to the Farrell and Sharon areas.

Anyone with information is asked to call Pennsylvania State Police in Mercer County or their local police department.
