Interstate 80 Rollover Crash Stymies Traffic

VENANGO CO., Pa. (EYT) — Interstate 80 Eastbound in Venango County has reopened following a tractor trailer crash that occurred this afternoon near mile marker 33.

According to a representative of Venango County 911, the call came in at 1:52 p.m.

Clintonville Volunteer Fire Department, Superior Ambulance, and Franklin State Police were called to the scene.

A tractor-trailer rolled on its side, according to Venango County 911.

Superior Ambulance transported the driver of the tractor trailer to Grove City Hospital for suspected minor injuries.

Interstate 80 eastbound was closed from Exit 29 (Route 8, Franklin-Oil City-Barkeyville) to Exit 35 (Route 308, Clintonville).

The road reopened at 4:00 p.m.
