Interview Skills Workshop Set for October 18

| October 3, 2017

OIL CITY, Pa. – An Interview Skills Workshop will be held at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 18, at the Transit Building in Oil City.

The workshop will help attendees increase their understanding of the interview process and answer some of the most common and challenging interview questions.

“The goal is to make potential job applicants as comfortable and prepared as possible,” said event organizer Lisa Swartz, “This is an area where we can always learn more, making sure our resumes are up to date and that we know how best to market ourselves to potential employers. These are skills anyone looking for a job or considering a career change can benefit from.”

The workshop is free of charge to the public and is being facilitated by Trenton Moulin, Executive Director of Bridge Builders Community Foundations.

Mr. Moulin has years of administrative and managerial experience, including serving as a Recruiting Manager for Robert Half International (RHI), where he reviewed thousands of resumes and interviewed hundreds of candidates.

The workshop is part of a series of seminars offered by the non-profit group Well Spring.

Well Spring offers free classes aimed at increasing self-empowerment and personal leadership in a community-based setting.

Workshop topics include both life skills (e.g. stress management, facing fears, effective communications) and technical competencies (e.g. personal finance, civic leadership, starting a business).

“We really believe that by offering these workshops we can create positive opportunities and ultimately a better quality of life for members of our community,” stated Ms. Swartz.

While the seminars are free, seating is limited. To RVSP for the Interview Skills Workshop, contact Well Spring at info@hope21ministry.org.
