Interviews of State Rep. Candidates Available for Public Viewing

VENANGO CO., Pa. – Venango County Tea Party Patriots, with the help of members of Christian Life Academy (CLA) Media Team, have teamed up to create video interviews of candidates running for the office of State Representative of the 64th District of Pennsylvania.

Candidates Michael Bagdes-Canning, Green Party; R. Lee James, Republican; and John Kluck, Democrat, were interviewed using the same questions and given the same approximate time to answer.

The interviews are posted for public viewing at www.vctpp.org. Listeners will be able to select the topics that most interest them and compare the various stands the candidates are taking issues.

Molly Beth Black, who is an alumna of CLA and recently graduated from Penn State Behrend with a communication degree, acted as media consultant.

Ryan Fair, a junior at CLA, participated as cameraman and video editor.

Jane Richey, local coordinator of VCTPP, was the interviewer and produced the news event as a community service to local voters.

Venango County Tea Party Patriots does not endorse candidates but provides education and information to voters on relevant election races.

Voters are reminded that October 11 is the last day to register to vote before the November election. November 1 is the last day to apply for a civilian absentee ballot.

Forms for voter registration and absentee ballots may be obtained at the Venango County Courthouse located at 1168 Liberty Street in Franklin, Pa.
