BUTLER COUNTY, Pa. (EYT) — A Clarion County woman involved in a DUI crash last month in Butler County was more than double the state’s legal limit.

According to the Butler Eagle, Skye L. Galey, 28, of St. Petersburg, was traveling on Route 268 in Parker Township, Butler County, around 3:50 a.m. on June 17 when she lost control of her vehicle.

Galey’s vehicle subsequently crashed into a guide rail before coming to a final rest.

Police said sobriety tests revealed Galey’s blood-alcohol level was 0.185 percent — more than double Pennsylvania’s legal limit of .08 percent.

Butler-based State Police Trooper Giustini filed the following charges against Galey at Magisterial District Judge Lewis E. Stoughton’s office:

  • DUI: Gen Impairment of Driving Safely — 1st Offense, Misdemeanor
  • DUI: Highest Rate of Alcohol (BAC .16+) — 1st Offense, Misdemeanor
  • Failure To Keep Right, Summary
  • Disregard Traffic Lane (Single), Summary
  • Careless Driving, Summary

Galey faces a preliminary hearing and a bail hearing on September 4 at 1:00 p.m. before Judge Stoughton.
