PLUM TWP., Pa. (EYT) — State police are investigating the sexual assault of a minor in the Plum Township area.

According to police, around 2:17 p.m. on Tuesday, April 17, Sugarcreek Borough Police Department took an initial call regarding the sexual assault of a minor.

Details of this case include the sexual assault of a 15-year-old female by a known suspect.

The case has been transferred to investigators at Franklin-based State Police.

Police say no further details will be released at this time due to the sensitiveness of the case and the juvenile’s age.

This investigation is ongoing.
