SUGARCREEK BOROUGH, Pa. (EYT) — Police are investigating a reported theft of items and criminal mischief at a gravesite in the Franklin area.

Sugarcreek Borough Police Lt. Ryan Ashbaugh said the theft and damage occurred sometime between Thursday, July 4, and Monday, July 22, at The Franklin Cemetery.

According to police, unknown individual(s) removed angel statues, hummingbird figurines, and flower style pinwheels, and also damaged the flowers that had been planted.
