James C. Elliott

James C. Elliott, 67, of Lucinda passed away on July 30, 2017 at his home after a five month illness.

Born on November 22, 1949 in Brookville he was the son of late Eugene Craig and Velma Mae Burns Elliott.

He was a 1967 graduate of Union High School and attended Clarion University.

On July 19, 1975 he was married to the former Veronica “Bonnie” L Baumcratz Elliott and she survives.

Jim was a member of St. Michael Church in Fryburg.

He worked for 37 years at Owens-Brockway in Clarion.

When he was not working Jim enjoyed Brace Field Trial Beagles, bowling, hunting and fishing, and softball and baseball.

Jim was also a member of the Fryburg Beagle Club, Coraopolis Beagle Club, WOCAV, and the Sligo Sportsmen Club.

Jim served four years in the United States Navy.

He is survived by his wife Bonnie, a brother John Elliott and his wife Sylvia of TN, an aunt Mary Elliott of Norfolk VA, an aunt Aida Morris of Sligo PA, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Jim was preceded in death by his parents and a brother Phil.

As per his request there will be no public visitations.

Faller Funeral Home, Inc. in Fryburg will be caring for the family.

Memorials in Jim’s honor may be made to St. Michael Church in Fryburg; The Cancer Center – Clarion Hospital; or Clarion Forest VNA Hospice, 271 Perkins RD., Clarion, PA 16214.
