James Cecil Graham, 60 of Walkertown, North Carolina, died Sunday, August 13, 2017 after a lengthy and courageous battle with cancer.

Born, September 13, 1956 in Meadville, he was the son of Clifford Neil and Louise Grace Arnfield Graham.

He married Patricia Ann Wilcox at the Stone United Methodist Church in Meadville on August 30, 1980.

He was a 1975 graduate of Meadville High School and also was enrolled at the Crawford County Vocational Graduate School for 4 years receiving his journeyman tool and die degree.

James worked for several years at Pennco Tool and for 7 years he owned and operated Custom Tool and Mold, recently he worked as Tooling Coordinator at TE Connectivity in North Carolina.

As a child, he attended the Watson Run Presbyterian Church and was a member of the Northwest Street Rods Club.

He played Little League as a young man and was an avid outdoorsman enjoying rebuilding fly fishing rods.

He also built custom street rods and was a dedicated engine builder and Kart-racer for over a decade.

Above all, he was a devoted, husband, father, mentor and best friend.

Survivors in addition to his wife of 37 years include his two sons, Brandyn James Graham and his fiancée, Richelle D. Jones of Hendersonville, Tennessee, and Christopher Alan Graham of Walkertown, North Carolina. Three sisters, Barbara L. Anderson and her husband Kenneth of Cambridge Springs, Joanne M. Smith of Meadville and Virginia A. Lesher of Meadville. Two brothers, William R. Graham and his wife Ruth of Cochranton and John C. Graham and his wife Sue of Meadville, and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother Richard E. Graham.

Friends and family will be received at the DICKSON FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, INC. 123 S. Franklin St., Cochranton on Thursday, August, 17, 2017, from 4:00pm until 7:00pm.

The funeral service will be 10:00am on Friday at the funeral home with C.R.E Tina Kaye, of the Utica United Methodist Church, officiating.

Interment will be in the Cochranton Cemetery.

Memorial Contributions can be made in James name to Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home, 101 Hospice Lane, Winston Salem, NC 27103.
