James NealJames E. Neal, 69 of Shippenville passed away November 21, 2015 after a lengthy illness.

Born on March 21, 1946 in Strattanville he was the son of James J. and Goldie M. Best Neal.

James graduated from Clarion-Limestone High School in 1946.

On September 16, 1967 he was married to the former Elaine A. Slike Neal, who preceded him in death on June 29, 2014.

He was a member of Immaculate Conception Church in Clarion, PA.

James was the owner of Jim Neal Enterprises and he specialized in auto body repair and restoration.

He enjoyed spending time with his family and taking care of his dogs: Daisy, Maggy, and Chloe and his cats Tecumseh, Bob and Lilly. James was an avid David Church fan and also enjoyed visiting with his friends and talking cars.

James is survived by his children: James Jay Neal and his wife Stacy of Fort Myers, FL; Becky A Neal of Strattenville; and Hillary A. Truitt and her husband Steven of Shippenville. Three Grandchildren Mitchell, Aiden and Allison also survive.
Surviving siblings include a brother Walter Paul Neal of Strattanville and a sister Florence Young and her husband Frank of Brookville. He is also survived by a sister-in-law Rose Ann Lauer, a sister-in-law Lucille Lutz and her husband Harry, a brother-in-law Irvin Slike and his wife Judy, a sister-in-law Genevieve Selker, and a sister-in-law Victoria Ferringer and her husband Roy. Numerous nieces and nephews also survive.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Elaine and a sister-in-law Karen Neal.

As per his request there will be no public visitations.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 am on Wednesday, December 2, 2015at Immaculate Conception Church in Clarion, PA with Rev. B. LaMounte “Monty” Sayers pastor presiding.
