Janet SeelbachJanet Raylene Seelbach of Clarion passed away suddenly of natural causes at the Clarion Hospital on March 26, 2017. She was 79 years of age.

She was born on August 8, 1937 in Clarion, she was the daughter of the late Ivan G. and June (Bullman) McCollough.

On March 15, 1957, she married Charles Robert Seelbach at the First United Methodist Church in Clarion. He preceded her in death on August 23, 2016.

Janet was a homemaker who enjoyed her family and following the Pittsburgh Steelers and Penguins.

She also volunteered at the Clarion Hospital.

She is survived by her children, Robert Seelbach and wife Robin, of North Glenn, CO, Raeleen Godinez and husband Temo, of Raleigh, NC, Charles Seelbach and wife Alyson, of Chapel Hill, NC, Charlene Prody and husband Herb, of Corry, PA, and Christine Texter and husband Tim, of Shippenville; 13 grandchildren; 3 step-grandchildren; and several step-great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister Vanessa McCollough of Clarion, and several nieces and nephews.

Janet was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and her brother Glenford McCollough.

Memorial donations may be made to a charity of the donor’s choosing.

Arrangements are under the care of the Goble Funeral Home and Crematory, 330 Wood Street in Clarion.

Family will receive visitors at the funeral home from 10-11 a.m. on Friday.

Funeral services will follow at 11:00 a.m., with Rev. Arnie Rhodes, pastor emeritus of the First United Methodist Church of Clarion officiating.

Interment will be in the Hillview Cemetery, Kepples Corners, Butler County, PA.
