Jean ChurchillJean E. Churchill of Grove City passed away Tuesday evening Jan. 17, 2017 in Grove City Medical Center surrounded by her loving family following a brief illness. She was 89.

Jean was born in Crafton, PA (Allegheny Co.) on Aug. 2, 1927 to Harry L. and Lorena C. (Reinheimer) Miller.

She married James S. Churchill on Aug. 3, 1945; he preceded her in death on Sept. 7, 2005.

For many years from the 1960’s to the early 80’s she was employed by the former Milan’s Restaurant, Springfield Township.

Jean treated everyone like family. She recently attended Grace United Methodist Church, Grove City. She lived life to the fullest. Jean enjoyed playing in the Kitchen Band, attending dinners and concerts with friends and years of fitness with her friend, and fitness trainer Dee Sopher.

Jean was a volunteer at Grove City Medical Center and she served in different areas of the local AARP chapter.

She will be greatly missed by her family.

Survivors include her two children, Darlene Hanna and husband Raeman, Harrisville and J. Ronald Churchill and wife Linda, Grove City, 5 grandchildren, Niki Rae Lewis and husband Michael, Jonathan Churchill and wife Becky, Veronica Harcar and husband Brian, Dusty Hanna and wife Elyse and Clay Hanna and wife Katie, 11 great grandchildren, Brandon, Damon, Hallee, Natalle, Landon, Morrison, Carleigh, Sebastien, Avery, Finley and Calvin.

Memorial Contributions to Grove City Medical Center Volunteers, 631 N. Broad Street, Grove City, PA 16127.

Funeral Service: Cunningham Funeral Home, Inc., 306 Bessemer Ave., Grove City, PA on Saturday, Jan. 21, 2017 at 11:00 AM with Rev Howard Greenfield of Grace Church officiating.

Visitation Hours: Cunningham Funeral Home, Inc., Grove City, on Friday, Jan. 20, 2017 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8:00 PM

Burial: Crestview Memorial Park, Inc., Grove City, PA.
