John E. White, Jr., 44 of Franklin, passed away at 10:00 am on July 19, 2017 at the VNA Inpatient Hospice in Butler.

John was born on March 2, 1973. He was raised by his late mother, Linda Louise Pyle, in Franklin.

John was a contractor and did various types of construction. He was most recently employed by the Hand in Hand Christian Counseling in Franklin as a residential care worker.

He was a true “country boy” by heart and loved to be dressed “camo and comfortable”. He loves to hunt, fish, and camp. He also enjoyed Nascar racing and the Pittsburgh Steelers.

John is survived by his fiancé, Cassie Vanwormer of Franklin, three children Kierney Manson of Franklin, Brittany Rupert of Erie, and Nykolous Beer of Franklin, three grandsons Blake, Brycson, and Brantlee, his siblings Joseph Lopeno, Sharon Rugh, and Frances Strawbridge, all of Franklin, a step-sister Amanda Kurschinske, a niece Tawnya Titus, his step-father Ronald Goodman, and numerous other nieces and nephews.

John had also been step-father to many children over the years.

In addition to his mother, John was preceded in death but his brother William Lopeno.

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Huff Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at The Hand in Hand Christian Counseling Center, 118 Grant St, Franklin, on Sunday, July 23, at 1:00 pm.

Memorials may be made in Johns name to Huff Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc. 312 W. Park St Franklin, PA 16323, to help defray funeral expenses.
