John H. Moore, 77, of Dawson Street, Kane, formerly of Forest County, died Monday morning, July 2, 2018, in the emergency room at UPMC Kane.

Born in Hottelville on November 15, 1940, he was the son of Douglas J. and Rachel M. Naylor Moore.

John was a machinist at Stackpole Corp. in Kane for many years.

Surviving are his wife Regina F. Conrad Moore of Kane; daughters Valerie Trubic of Bath, N.Y., Tracy Gilmore of Kane and Renee Conti of Kellettville; a son Shawn Moore of James City; a sister Marie A. Silvis of Perry, Ohio and a brother William Moore of Marienville. Fifteen grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews also survive.

He was preceded in death, besides his parents, by a daughter Kimberly Ann Lambert, a brother Warren Moore and sisters Constance Brindle and Mildred Everett.

A memorial service will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Friday at the Ronald McDonald II Funeral Home, Inc. in Kane with the rev. David Pflieger, chaplain of the Lutheran Home at Kane, officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Tabor Cemetery at a later time.
