John P. Dolan, 59 of Connellsville, PA formally of Somerset and Clarion, died Saturday, March 18, 2017 at the Westmoreland Manor in Greensburg, PA from complications following a stroke.

He was born December 7, 1957 in Johnstown, PA. The son of the late James P. Dolan, Jr. and Joan E Dolan.

John graduated from Clarion Limestone High School 1976. Prior to his stroke he was employed at NAPA Auto Parts in Connellsville.

John is survived by three brothers David Dolan and his fiancée Carmen of Gainesville Florida, Daniel Dolan of Somerset, PA and Andrew Dolan and his friend Michele of Vinco, PA; two sisters, Kelly Brozik and her husband Butch of Greensburg, PA and Kathleen Dolan of Pittsburgh and three nephews Michael Dolan and fiancée Sophie of Frostburg, Maryland, Timothy Dolan of Pittsburgh and Marcus Hart of Johnstown.

He is also survived by very special friends, Brynn and Michael Darrell of Connellsville, Carol Shultz of Miola, Doug and Carol Carnahan of Shippenville, and Mike Carnahan of Strattenville.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brother James P. Dolan III.

Family will receive friends Wednesday, March 22, 2017 from 10:00 am to 11:00 am at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Clarion where Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 am.

Interment will follow at Cedarview Memorial Park.
