John Robert “Jack” Molsky

John Robert “Jack” Molsky, passed away on Tuesday, November 28, 2017, in his home. Jack was 78 years old, born on September 13, 1939, in Jeanette, PA to the late Jack S. and Sophia (Zimowski) Molsky. He joins his brothers, Thomas, Herm, Ed, and Danny in Heaven.

Jack was a Vietnam War Veteran, serving in the U.S. Airforce. He worked as the Director of Training and Development at Giant Food Stores, then went on to work with AWI in Management Training. Jack was working as a training consultant for Kennie’s Markets when he retired to be a full-time “Papa”.

He was a sports enthusiast and had a passion for teaching and traveling. In his free time, he enjoyed reading, writing, and photography. Jack and his family hosted many foreign exchange students who have kept in touch with them over the years. His favorite quote was,” I may not be the most important person in your life…I just hope when you hear my name, you will smile and say that’s my friend.” Jack truly made a difference in the lives he touched.

He is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Ann (Karg) Molsky; his son, Christopher T. Molsky of Dillsburg; his daughter, Jacqueline A. Molsky Lenig of New Cumberland and his five grandchildren, Jacob, Luke, Thomas, Carleen, and Lindsey. He had many nieces and nephews who loved and admired him.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 AM Saturday, December 2 at Malpezzi Funeral Home, 8 Market Plaza Way, Mechanicsburg. Burial will take place in Rolling Green Cemetery. There will be a viewing at the funeral home from 6:00 to 8:00 PM Friday, December 1.
