EYT Media Group, Inc., the parent company of exploreClarion.com, exploreVenango.com, exploreJeffersonPA.com, D9Sports.com, and The Explore Radio Network, has an immediate opening for a part-time sports reporter/stringer to cover Oil City and Franklin football.

JOB TITLE: Part-time Sports Reporter/Stringer

JOB DESCRIPTION
The Reporter/Stringer will report directly to the Sports Editor and assist in covering Oil City and/or Franklin football on a weekly basis as assigned. The main responsibility will be writing a game story each week. Additional responsibilities may include video and photography at the contest.

KEY SKILLS AND ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Attention to detail is a must
• Availability every Friday night through the end of the football season (including postseason)
• Ability to travel to both home and away contests
• Strong writing skills and the ability to write on deadline
• Knowledge of football and football statistics keeping
• Have a computer and internet service in order to send game stories/videos the same night as the contest
• Must be computer savvy and have a strong understanding of technology
• A candidate with previous reporting experience is preferred but not required. YouTube experience is a plus.
