Joseph Francis Wells Jr., 67, of Clarion, died unexpectedly at home on February 12, 2018. 


Born on February 27, 1950, in Pittsburgh, PA, he was the son of Joseph F. Sr. and Rita (Rady) Wells. He lived in Clarion, PA; Bradford, PA; Olean, NY; Jamestown, NY; Bradenton, Fl; and returned to Clarion upon his retirement.

Joseph worked as a radio personality in various cities among other occupations. Joseph was an avid music fan and collected memorabilia throughout his life.


Survivors include his parents Joseph and Rita Wells of Zelienople, PA, his sister Carla Dunn (Tom, daughter Courtney) of Cranberry Township, PA; two sons, Jason Wells (Theresa) of Olean, NY; Jeffery Wells (Cindy Madison) of Warren, PA; and three grandsons, Calib, Brenden, and Zachary.


Arrangements are under the care of the Goble Funeral Home and Crematory in Clarion.

As per Joseph’s wishes, there will be no visitation and no services.
