Joyce L. Zimmerman, 66, of 104 Evans St., Oil City, died at 3:45 pm, Tuesday, May 28, 2013, at her residence.

Born November 24, 1946 in Franklin, she was a daughter of the late Jackson A. and Miriam L. Williams Soles.

Mrs. Zimmerman was a homemaker and enjoyed reading, cooking, gardening, crossword books and spending time with her family.

She was married to Vernon A. Zimmerman, who preceded her in death on November 14, 1992.

She is survived by two sons, Donald P. Zimmerman of Oil City and Michael S. Zimmerman of Bellefonte, PA, a daughter Angela D. Zimmerman of Oil City and 8 grandchildren.

Also surviving is a sister Cynthia Barr of Franklin, 2 daughters-in-law Brandi E. Zimmerman and Melissa A. Zimmerman of Oil City and a niece Amyjo Barr of Franklin,

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband and a daughter, Deborah Klein.

Friends may call at the Morrison Funeral Home on Thursday from 7 to 9 pm.

Funeral services will be held in the funeral home at 11 am Friday in the funeral home.

Interment will be in Venus Cemetery.
