julia millerJulia “Pauline” Miller, 72, of Oil City, died Thursday, June 16, 2017, at Oakwood Heights in Oil City.

Born July 29, 1944 in Oil City, she was a daughter of the late Vivian Arlene Kellogg Blauser.

Pauline attended Rocky Grove High School.

She worked for 28 years as a cleaning lady at Quaker State and Pennzoil and later as a nursing assistant at Oakwood Heights.

Mrs. Miller enjoyed cooking, baking, and hosting parties, and loved spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.

On October 19, 1962, she married Donald E. Miller, who preceded her in death on January 7, 1993.

She is survived by a son Loren Miller and wife Judy of Johnstown; two daughters, Zena Anderson and husband Jeff of Oil city and Dawn Miller of Texas; five grandchildren, Danielle Anderson, Kelsee and Morgan Miller, Rachael Saavedra, and Shawn Sharpe; and nine great grandchildren, Kyliegh and Carter Anderson, Karissa Reed, Ava Ray, Paislee Forsell, and Juan, Vanessa, Addison, and Jordan Saavedra.

Pauline is also survived by a brother, Robert Blauser and wife Irma of Franklin; and five sisters, Nellie Swartzfager of Rouseville, Nancy Quitevis of Jacksonville, FL, Karen Ezell and husband Junior of Jacksonville, FL, Linda Coole of Knox, and Vickie Moss and husband Robert of New Philadelphia, OH.

In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by a grandson, Matt Anderson.

A memorial service will be held at Calvary Temple in Oil City, on Friday at 3 pm with the Rev. Randy Shirey officiating.

Interment will be in Sunset Hill Memorial Gardens.

The family requests memorials be made to the Alzheimer’s unit at Oakwood Heights.
