Justin Lee Harkness, 26, of Knox passed away unexpectedly at home on January 30, 2019.

Born January 2, 1993, in Brookville, Justin was the son of John “Tim” Harkness and Melissa Black.

Justin was in 4H and graduated from Keystone in 2011. He then went on to the University of Northwestern Ohio where he graduated in 2013. After graduating he drove pilot car until he got his cdl and started driving truck for Hawk Trucking.

Justin loved anything with wheels from dirt bikes to 18 wheelers, he liked listening to music and playing guitar and loved to drive truck. He was kind and thoughtful and always fun to be with. Justin loved his family and friends and was always willing to help them. He lived life to its fullest.

Along with his parents Justin is survived by his grandparents Jerry and Marlene McLaine of Knox, and two brothers Jerred Harkness of Knox and Timmy Semanco of Clarion.

Justin was preceded in death by a grandmother Brenda Pinson.

The family will receive friends from 2 to 5 pm on Sunday, February 3rd and 10 to 11 AM Monday February 4th at the McEntire-Weaver Funeral Home 504 East Penn Ave., Knox. Funeral services will be held at 11 AM Monday in the funeral home with pastor Ron Hunsberger officiating. Interment will take place at the Miola Cemetery.
