Keith Edward Whitmer, 62, of 1207 Grandview Rd. Oil City, PA. , died at 9:05 A.M. Saturday, Oct. 7, 2017, after an extended illness.

Born July 17, 1955, in Oil City, PA., he was the son of the late Hilton Whitmer & June Williams Whitmer.

Keith graduated from Oil City High School.

He had spent over 40 years as a truck driver, last being employed by McKissick Trucking in Venus.

Keith was a veteran of the United States Army and had served during Desert Storm.

He enjoyed his motorcycle, watching NASCAR and spending time with his grandchildren.

He is survived by two children Amanda Blackwell & her husband Brad of AL.

Three grandchildren Felicia, Reagan, and Mikaela.

He is also survived by four brothers and sisters; Ron Whitmer & his wife Pat of SC, Mary Spencer & her husband Robert of Franklin, Cindy Asel & her husband Robin of Oil City, Janet Shields & her husband Bill of Oil City, and a sister-in-law Kris Whitmer of Reno.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother Bill Whitmer Sr.

Friends will be received from 12 Noon- 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, Oct. 10 in the Reinsel Funeral Home.

Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 P.M. with Rev. Rolland Smith Presiding.

Military Honors will take place at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, Oct. 11 at Lamey Cemetery.
