Kennerdell Man Jailed on Heroin Charges

CRANBERRY TWP., Pa. (EYT) – A 25-year-old Kennerdell man is facing charges after he was allegedly found to be in possession of heroin on Wednesday.

Franklin-based State Police say the incident took place around 11:07 a.m. on Fairfield Drive in Cranberry Township, Venango County.

State troopers were assisting state parole officers when they found 25-year-old James M. Goodlin to be in possession of an undisclosed number of stamp bags of heroin.

Goodlin was taken into custody and charged with the following offenses:

– Use/Possession Of Drug Paraphernalia, Misdemeanor
– Intentional Possession Controlled Substance By Person Not Registered, Misdemeanor

He was lodged in the Venango County Jail after failing to post $50,000 cash bail.

Goodlin faces a preliminary hearing on February 10 before Magisterial District Judge Patrick E. Lowrey.
