Kennerdell Woman Flown to Erie Hospital Following Route 62 Rollover

AmbulanceWARREN COUNTY, Pa. (EYT) – A 71-year-old Kennerdell woman was flown to UPMC Hamot in Erie following a one-vehicle crash in Warren County yesterday.

State police in Warren said the accident happened around 2:55 p.m. when a vehicle operated by 72-year-old Robert R. Fry, of Kennerdell, was traveling south on SR-62 in Limestone Township, Warren County, and for unknown reasons left the east side of the roadway.

Fry’s 2012 Toyota Prius struck the end of a guide rail and then traveled through a yard before striking some large rocks at the edge of a creek, police said.

The vehicle then overturned, before it landed back on its wheels and struck a small tree.

Mr. Fry sustained minor injuries and refused medical treatment.

A passenger in Mr. Fry’s vehicle, 71-year-old Kathleen K. Fry, of Kennerdell, was transported to UPMC Hamot in Erie for treatment of major injuries.

EmergencyCare Ambulance, Tidioute VFD, and East Hickory VFD assisted at the scene.
